    About:  As a part of Pagosa Springs’ Winter Fest, this race is a fundraiser for DUST2.  This is the second part of a fun fat bike race series with something to offer riders of any ability.  There will be a 12k for those who want an extra challenge, a 6k for those who want to just get their feet wet and a Kidk for racers under 18.  Join us!

    Fat bike full moon night ride – 630 pm.  2445 County Road 400.  Exactly 2 miles up Four Mile Road on the right.  Drive up the driveway and park at the top.
    2.5 mile circuit of groomed singletrack, lots of climbing/descending.
    Bring lights.  Bring adult beverages.

    Pagosa Nordic Club - Dog Races

    About: The Pagosa Nordic Club holds many events throughout the winter – clinics, races, socials.

    Pagosa Paw Dogsled, Canine Skijoring

    Location: Toner Ranch – 15.5 miles on Piedra Road from HWY 160.  Turn right onto Taylor Lane 1 mile.  Look for the activity just past the cattle shuttles.

    A great spectator event.  This two-day winter dog sports event includes spectacular dog sled racing, as well as Nordic skiing.  Races start at 9 am both days and include dog sled races and skijor races (dog pulls you on skis.)

    Cash prizes are awarded for competitive entries (based on combined score for both race days) and there are ribbons and prize drawings for sportsman participants who just want to try it out.

    Spectators are encouraged to arrive early as 8 am to watch sled teams prepare for the 9 am races, which are fast-paced!

    About: The Pagosa Nordic Club holds many events throughout the winter – clinics, races, socials.

    Location: Cloman Park @ 10 AM – Noon  (Registered, checked in and ready to ski before 10 AM)

    These introductory clinics will be held once a month – weather depending.  Skate ski and classic cross country ski basics will be shared by some of Pagosa Springs’ best skiers, all free of charge!  First timers and those wanting to hone their skills are all welcome.

    Bring your ski gear, water and snacks and layers for changeable weather.  Pagosa Mountain Sports rents classic ski gear and we offer a special rental discount for these clinics – just mention you are attending!

    The clinic is free.  However, donations of $5-$10 per person are encouraged.
