    #OptOutside

Pagosa Mountain Sports will #OptOutside by closing the Friday after Thanksgiving.  Instead of shopping, we will be out skiing, hiking, biking and enjoying what nature provides.  Join us!

#Optoutside was originated by REI.  They started a movement for people to reconnect outdoors over the holidays. They closed on one of the most popular shopping days of the year, paid their employees to spend time outside, and invited America to join them. The response was overwhelmingly positive.

Show your favorite local spots some love by doing your holiday shopping in Pagosa the first Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Small Business Saturdays – First observed in the United States on November 27, 2010, it is a counterpart to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which feature big box retail and e-commerce stores respectively. By contrast, Small Business Saturday encourages holiday shoppers to patronize brick and mortar businesses that are small and local.
