WCWC needs firm RSVP’s by Tuesday, July 10!
WCWC is planning our rescheduled big work day up on Treasure. They are going up Saturday afternoon/early evening (after the Duathlon) and camping out and then working all day on Sunday. If you can’t camp on Saturday, you can meet them on Sunday morning. They are hoping to get some tread work done above the Windy Pass intersection and possibly one of the muddy crossings (if they can get enough people).
Please contact wc.wheelclub@gmail.com if you are interested in this project. WCWC is trying to get an idea of numbers for how much can get done, how many tools to pack in, how much water is needed, etc. WCWC is also looking for people with dirt bikes that would be willing to bring some equipment in for us…tools, water, camping equipment. Please let them know if you have a dirt bike that could carry some supplies and would be willing to help out!

Violence is a dirty word!  The Pagosa Duathlon is an annual event held to raise funds for the Rise Above Violence (Rise) in Pagosa Springs, Colorado.  Cruise A Thong 2018

The Cruise A Thong – Pagosa Springs is BACK for 2018!

Pagosa Mountain Sports is a sponsor for this super fun summer event!  Call us early in the summer to reserve your bike and/or river tube – they go fast!

Friends of the Upper San Juan River present the Average Joe Race.  The race is a triathlon designed for the not-so-hard-core athlete in all of us!!  Like a triathlon, the course consists of three legs; however, ours is a bit more relaxed.

First leg is a “cruiser” bike ride (or other self-propelled method of transportation) through downtown Pagosa Springs

Second leg is a “thong” (that is to say flip-flop) walk along the almost “world famous” Pagosa Springs River Walk

Lastly, a tube float (or other creative floatation device) down the beautiful San Juan River

Following the race is our After Party which consists of live music, food, libations and a ceremony to award the new Average Joe.  We will also award other not-so-average participants for creative costumes and other not-so-average antics.

Registration is now open!
