    Pagosa Springs Single Track

    698 S 8th St, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147, USA

DUST2 will be hosting a fundraiser to help defray the costs of the re-route of the Urban Single Track. Please join them Saturday July 1 for an action-packed bike-ride-log-carrying-tire-dragging-balloon-launching-American Ninja-style elimination series for individuals or teams hosted by Motel SoCo.
After the races, enjoy the music of Brooks Linder while you refuel with top notch BBQ from Shooters and Shenanigans and cold beer from Riff Raff Brewing Company!
Admission is $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for kids. For more details, visit: http://www.dustx2.com

The fundraiser for DUST2 mountain bike race planned on this date at the new Urban Single Track has been cancelled.  On Wednesday June 14th, DUST2, the Town of Pagosa Springs and the Archuleta School District (ASD) met to discuss the hill behind the High School which earlier in the year became unstable causing it to slide. The ASD made DUST2 and the Town of Pagosa Springs (TOPS) aware that this hillside poses a direct threat to the integrity of the school and that it would need to be stabilized in order to prevent damage to the building. This process will require that earth be removed from the unstable hill and piled over the newly completed Phase I Trail. As a result the opening of the new trail will need to be pushed back until the hill can be stabilized.

DUST2 is committed to working with their partners- the Town of Pagosa Springs and the ASD- to complete this project and get kids out on this trail! Phase 1 Trail builder, Tony Boone, has committed to lead the re-building of the damaged trail and feels that there is potential for some sweet new lines! They will continue to work toward the successful completion of Phase 1; the start of the youth cycling team; and the plans for Phase 2.

DUST2 (Developing Urban Single Track and Teams) is dedicated to developing Pagosa Springs first Urban Single Track Trail system and junior cycling team!

    Cruise A Thong 2017 – On Hold

Unfortunately, it looks like there will be no Cruise A Thong – Pagosa Springs in 2017.  The ladies who usually organize the event all had babies in the spring and will not have band width this year.

Check back to our event calendar for further updates…you never know.  If not, we will see you next year!

Friends of the Upper San Juan River present the Average Joe Race.  The race is a triathlon designed for the not-so-hard-core athlete in all of us!!  Like a triathlon, the course consists of three legs; however, ours is a bit more relaxed.

First leg is a “cruiser” bike ride (or other self-propelled method of transportation) through downtown Pagosa Springs

Second leg is a “thong” (that is to say flip-flop) walk along the almost “world famous” Pagosa Springs River Walk

Lastly, a tube float (or other creative floatation device) down the beautiful San Juan River

Following the race is our After Party which consists of live music, food, libations and a ceremony to award the new Average Joe.  We will also award other not-so-average participants for creative costumes and other not-so-average antics.
